The agricultural sector is one of the fundamental pillars of the economy and represents the main source of food for the world's population. However, it faces a great challenge: producing more and better while increasing sustainability with a reasonable use of natural resources, reducing environmental degradation and adapting to climate change. In this sense, the role of information, its use and data management is increasing. Information on climatic conditions, soils, diseases, insects, seeds, fertilizers, etc. constitutes an important contribution to the economic and sustainable development of this sector.

The objective of the Diploma in Agro Analytics is to introduce concepts related to data science and share its application in the development of solutions for the agricultural sector, giving concrete examples of digital products and solutions.
