Introduction

It is designed to provide students with skills to understand international and multinational management, marketing, finance, and business law.
Program Outcome
These Microdegree programs will give students the necessary skills to take on management and executive positions in the corporate business world. Microdegree graduates have the confidence to pursue careers in the private sector, in public administration, international organizations, and NGOs.
Curriculum
Graduate Certificate students complete the four main concentration courses of the UBIS MBA program. Only 4 courses total that can be completed in as short as 4 months or as long as 2 years.

This course focuses on opportunities and challenges created by globalization. It explains cross-cultural and management issues related to management in an international marketplace.
MKT 604 Multinational Marketing
Credits: 3 US / 6 ECTS
This course introduces the student to global marketing concepts and strategies. It examines the problems of performing various marketing functions in other countries. Emphasis is on understanding the different cultural, economic, political, social, and legal environments in which a firm's product might be marketed in global settings and formulating strategies for such markets.
FIN 609 International Financial Management
Credits: 3 US / 6 ECTS
Develops financial, analytical, and communication skills necessary to develop and implement a financial strategy consistent with firm value creation in a dynamic environment. Stresses the impact of ethical and legal considerations, global markets, and technological innovation on efficient economic outcomes. Emphasizes written and oral communication skills. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to identify and analyze a firm’s strategic opportunities and propose a suitable financial strategy that is consistent with firm value creation.
LAW 603 International Business Law
Credits: 3 US / 6 ECTS
This course provides comprehensive coverage of the legal implications and ramifications of doing business internationally. Students examine the related cultural, political, economic, and ethical issues today’s global business managers face. With a focus on trade, the licensing of intellectual property, and foreign direct investment, the authors present the three major forms of doing business in a foreign country through real examples, precedent-setting cases, managerial implications, and ethical considerations.
