The HRCI PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification is a globally recognized credential designed for HR professionals. It validates a candidate's abilities to administer, develop, implement, and evaluate programs, procedures, and policies to provide a safe and secure working environment; and protect an organization from potential liability. The HRCI PHR certification shows a candidate's knowledge of recruitment strategies, staffing alternatives (such as outsourcing, job sharing, phased retirement), planning techniques (such as succession, planning, and forecasting), reliability and validity of selection tests, tools, and methods; and many more.
Education and National Certification
Students should have or be pursuing a high school diploma or GED.
There is a National Certification exam available to students who successfully complete this program:

Note: To be eligible for the PHR, you must meet one of the following conditions for education and/or experience:
Have at least one year of experience in a professional-level HR position and a Master’s degree or higher, Have at least two years of experience in a professional-level HR position and a Bachelor’s degree, OR Have at least four years of experience in a professional-level HR position.
