Introduction

The student examines the planning, technical and decorative elements required to design the interiors of residential and commercial buildings. The research focuses on the planning of individual residences, offices and commercial spaces (bars, hotels, banks, public restrooms, etc.); it shall describe the most appropriate furniture for a given space and the distribution of closets and bathrooms. Construction details of walls, floors, stairs, fireplaces, lighting, kitchens and woodwork should also be covered. Other decorative elements are considered such as the use of indoor plants, audiovisual systems, security, colour theory, window treatments, elevators, and indoor sports areas.

Programme outline

  • 65 academic credits besides a Master's programme.
  • Max Average Duration: 18 months + six months further on demand.
  • Admission is open for adults over 30 years of age. A Master's degree or international equivalent is required for admission.
  • All-inclusive price: supervisor’s support, evaluation and assessment, diploma certificate and transcript, legalization by Apostille according to the provisions of the 1961 Hague Convention.
