Introduction
The 36-credit-hour Master of Science in Organizational Management (MSOM) program blends coursework in organizational management, economic development, and entrepreneurship.
Graduates will be uniquely prepared to start their own businesses, foster the development of new enterprises in their communities, and facilitate a company’s evolution to a more innovative and growth-oriented corporate culture. The program also provides students an opportunity within each course to explore their own business and community enhancement projects.

Internship, Thesis, or Practical Project Credit
Students complete six hours of thesis, internship, and/or research project credit in advanced topic areas. The final paper should relate to the student’s area of concentration and constitute the culminating experience in the Master of Science degree program.
Two primary goals for graduate programs at Peru State College are flexibility and relevance. Students may propose to write detailed case studies, develop unique courses or programs for other institutions or the community, research and write substantial grant proposals, etc.
