Introduction
Employability skills are the essential skills, personal qualities and values that enable you to thrive in any workplace. Our Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Employability and Workplace Skills has been developed to provide learners with a range of knowledge, understanding, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life. This course has been designed to support you in successfully gaining a job, progressing in a chosen field, or prepare you for further study.
The learners will:
- Develop a body of knowledge about workplace employment and employability in a range of sectors.
- Develop a range of knowledge, facts, theories, ideas, skills, materials, terminology, practices and techniques associated with workplace skills, employment and employability.
- Develop self-confidence and interpersonal skills required for the working environment and employment.
- Be able to improve communication skills and promote personal effectiveness.
Successful completion of this qualification will equip learners with the underpinning knowledge and skills required to succeed in employment or further studies.

Course overview
The level 3 course is made up of 6 modules and 6 written assignments. Each module consists of 40 guided learning hours of material with an additional 30-50 hours worth of optional materials that comprise recommended exercises, recommended readings, Internet resources, and self-testing exercises.
