Introduction

Luxury is a diverse and complex industry that encompasses a wide range of products and services based on the principles of exclusivity, quality, and prestige. The global market for Luxury Goods is projected to reach US$369.8 billion by 2030, covering a variety of sectors from haute couture to hospitality, travel, jewelry, watches, fine dining, and the automotive industry. The Master in Luxury Brand and Business Management offers students a strategic view of the opportunities available in the industry, by providing advanced skills in the main functions of a luxury company: communication and marketing, branding, retail, finance, and accounting.

The program presents the concept of luxury from a historical, cultural, and global perspective by analyzing the relationship between luxury brands, high-value services, and consumer and market behaviors. Throughout the master's, students will develop the management, entrepreneurial, and marketing skills needed to analyze and forecast luxury trends, develop business and branding strategies, and create a culture of innovation based on the use of digital channels to foster sustainability and growth.

The teaching method is based on: online lessons, case analyses, projects and presentations, group and individual work sessions, and out-of-class assignments. The students will have the opportunity to apply theory into practice during the master project work to be completed during the last semester with the support of a faculty member and a personal tutor.
