In increasingly globalized and competitive markets, companies need new skills, able to use digital technologies in order to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness of their facilities.
The second-cycle degree course in Business Management and Digital Technologies is intended for the training of specialists in management and control of companies, specialists in the commercial areas of the companies operating in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, and consultants in the field of business economics and new technologies.
In summary, the second-cycle degree course in Business Management and Digital Technologies develops a highly qualified professional with managerial and technological skills, with an economic and legal understanding of innovative aspects related to ICT. It is a professional who is able to work in highly competitive environments and in private and public companies, where digital technologies are a strategic factor in terms of competitiveness.
The second-cycle degree course in Business Management and Digital Technologies is organized according to the consolidated psycho-pedagogical model defined by the International Telematic University Uninettuno and lasts two years. During the first year, the following specialized skills are provided: theoretical models related to the economics of innovation, corporate management with particular attention to the use of ICT, marketing strategies, application of e-commerce models for the promotion and communication, legal concepts related to the relationship between digital technologies and discipline of work. To complete the competencies’ framework that the graduate should possess to occupy management positions, even in enterprises operating in the global markets, elements of international accounting are also provided. Finally, the skills of the first year are completed by means of the acquisition of knowledge related to the information processing systems, also with statistical approaches, and to the use of digital technologies in business management.
The modules aimed at strengthening the competencies in the field of innovative business management, also related to the public sector and the e-government application, with a particular focus on new technologies and the regulatory framework analysis for the sectors affected by the digital revolution (telecommunications industry first of all) are provided in the second year. The course concludes with an in-depth study of advanced web technologies.

Knowledge and understanding
The modules included in the business section complete the knowledge and understanding skills developed in the three-year degree course in Economics and Business Management as it regards business management, organization, and accounting. In particular, the student will be able to propose changes and modifications as well as innovative solutions linked to digital technologies as it regards business management strategies, accounting, stock management, organizational patterns, external relations, raw materials supply management, distribution and sales channels, marketing techniques and new communication media and all this with regard to the private as well as the public sector.
