The objectives of the BTS Tourism training
The aim of the Remote Tourism BTS is to train you in managing relations with tourists, developing tourist services and managing tourist information. Thanks to their sense of communication, their mastery of foreign languages and new technologies, BTS Tourism graduates carry out very diverse missions:

- Create and promote tourism products and services
- Ensure the monitoring and management of commercial activity

As part of the BTS Tourism, you will be trained in Amadeus software in the second year of training. Amadeus is the benchmark software used in travel agencies and airlines. Mastering it is a sought-after skill and will give you a real advantage once in the job market.

In order to understand the profound changes in the tourism sector, ENACO enriches the program of the National Education repository with 3 in-depth courses in the fields of e-tourism, sustainable tourism and specialized tourism. The e-tourism course will give you all the keys to define and implement marketing and commercial strategies on the web. The course on sustainable tourism will train you in the design and marketing of ecotourism stays (green tourism, rural tourism, urban ecology, etc.). The Specialized Tourism Course will provide you with in-depth knowledge of the development and sale of niche tourism products, such as luxury tourism, gastronomic tourism, cultural tourism, etc. These complementary modules, delivered free of charge, will allow you to master new trends in the tourism sector, to be better prepared for exams and to broaden your professional opportunities.
ENACO allows you to prepare your BTS Tourism remotely in two years. The Distance Tourism BTS offered by ENACO is a national higher education diploma at Bac +2 level which awards 120 ECTS credits as well as a level 5 RNCP title. Our program is therefore subject to the control of National Education and our educational materials strictly comply with the official reference system. This diploma is accessible to holders of the Baccalaureate or equivalent.
An internship period is included in your distance learning BTS Tourism. Lasting 14 weeks, this internship will allow you to put into practice the skills and knowledge you will have acquired throughout your studies. The remote BTS Tourism can also be supported by Continuing Professional Training systems.

Information about internships
Your distance learning BTS Tourism course includes a 14-week internship period, to be carried out partially or totally abroad. The internship period can be split into two or three parts. It is recommended to complete an internship of 2 to 4 consecutive weeks in the first semester of the first year of schooling, in order to understand the professional environment.
Concerning salaried candidates exercising their profession in the field of tourism, internships are not compulsory. They can be replaced by one or more work certificates attesting that you are employed in activities in the tourism sector, as presented in the BTS Tourism standard. These activities must have been carried out as a full-time employee for 6 months during the year preceding the exam or part-time for one year during the two years preceding the exam.
