Introduction
The objectives of the BTS MUC / MCO training
The BTS MCO (ex BTS MUC) aims to train you in the management of a commercial unit (store, large distribution, commercial agency, commercial department, commercial site…). Sales expert and versatile manager, you will be in direct contact with customers and carry out very diverse missions to develop the activity of your commercial unit. In a context where digital is ever more present, you will also learn to adopt an omnichannel approach and strategy as well as to digitize your business unit.
The skills developed
The distance learning BTS MCO (formerly BTS MUC) covers a wide range of skills that you will master at the end of your training. In particular, you will be trained in:
- Commercial prospecting
- Customer loyalty
- Customer relationship management
- The animation of a sales area
- Management and animation of the product and service offer
- Procurement and inventory management
- Management of the activity
- Management of a sales team
ENACO allows you to prepare your BTS Management of Business Units in two years. The distance BTS MCO (ex BTS MUC) offered by ENACO is a national higher education diploma at Bac +2 level which awards 120 ECTS credits as well as a level 5 RNCP title. Our program is therefore subject to the control of National Education and our teaching materials strictly respect the official reference system. This BTS is accessible to candidates with a Baccalaureate or equivalent.
An internship period is included in your BTS MCO (ex BTS MUC) . Of a duration of 14 weeks including at least 4 consecutive weeks during the first year of study and 10 weeks including at least 4 consecutive during the second year of study. This internship will allow you to put into practice the skills and knowledge you will have acquired throughout your studies. You can also do your BTS MCO alternately . You will then be under a professionalization contract in a company and your work-study rhythm will be defined with the latter. More information on work-study training. The training program
The teaching program aims to train students in the areas of sales, management and marketing. They thus study the management and development of a business unit, customer relationship management, communication, business management and economics. Courses in general culture and expression, business computing, mathematics, law and modern languages (LV2 and LV3 optional) are also provided. Information about internships
Your distance learning BTS MCO course includes a 14-week internship period consistent with the training, i.e. 4 consecutive weeks during the first year and 10 weeks, including at least 4 consecutive during the second year. Thanks to this internship, you will be able to deepen and put into practice the theoretical teaching. This professional experience is very important because it allows you to discover the rules, constraints, customs of the company and its field of activity and to carry out your professional files.
Regarding salaried candidates exercising their profession in the field of management of a commercial unit, your internship is not compulsory. You will need to provide one or more work certificates attesting that you are employed in representative activities related to the management of a business unit, as presented in the repository.
