The objectives of the BTS International Trade training

The BTS Commerce International distance learning trains you to develop and manage the international activity of any type of company carrying out import-export operations. Both a manager and a salesperson, the holder of the BTS CI carries out a wide variety of missions in a multicultural environment. You will be trained in business techniques but also in foreign languages (two compulsory languages are included in this curriculum).

The skills developed

The BTS CI distance learning covers a wide range of skills that you will master at the end of your training. In particular, you will be trained to:

• Carry out studies and commercial monitoring of foreign markets
• Prospecting, negotiating and selling
• Search for suppliers
• Negotiate and manage purchases
• Set up operations and follow them up administratively and commercially
• Coordinate support services and service providers

ENACO allows you to prepare your BTS Commerce International distance in two years. The BTS CI distance learning program offered by ENACO is a national diploma of higher education at the Bac +2 level which grants 120 ECTS credits as well as a level 5 RNCP title. Our program is therefore subject to the control of the National Education and our teaching aids strictly respect the official referential. This BTS is accessible to candidates with a Baccalaureate or equivalent. At the end of your BTS CI distance learning, you can continue your education at ENACO with a European Bachelor in International Marketing.

This BTS can also be supported by the Continuing Professional Education system.

The training program

The curriculum allows students to master the techniques of international trade, the global economic context and modern languages. They study the legal and economic environment, commercial studies and monitoring, prospecting and customer follow-up, sales negotiation and management of import-export operations. Courses in communication and intercultural management, general culture and expression, business computing and modern languages (LV1 and LV2 required, LV3 optional) are also taught.

Information about internships

A 12-week internship period is included in your training, with a minimum of 8 weeks in the first year, including 4 mandatory weeks abroad, and a minimum of 4 weeks in the second year.

Thanks to this course, you will be able to deepen and put into practice the theory learned in your course materials. This professional experience is very important: it will allow you to build up the professional files to be handed in for your exams.
