Introduction

What is the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management?

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Management is a three-year program focused on academic research which prepares you like the DBA Doctor of Business Administration for a doctoral degree at the highest European Qualification Framework level 8.

Our Ph.D. students are motivated to create something new, to make an impact, and to initiate change. With their research, they will make an original contribution to solving current problems and close a gap in the academic literature. Depending on their research interests, our Ph.D. students cover a wide range of current topics in management: International Business, Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Human Resource Management, Marketing, (Information) Technology Management, Data Analytics, Consulting, Counseling / Training, Interim Management, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Change Management, Leadership / Management, Health Care, Automotive, Tourism and Hospitality etc.

The Ph.D. in Management program is very flexible. You may study full-time or part-time. The online delivery mode, the availability of study “holidays”, the (a) synchronous teaching sessions, our flexible payment plans, and the modern online learning platform help you to integrate your studies into your personal and professional life.

This program is unique as it will assist you right from the beginning with the identification and development of your dissertation topic and expose you to academic publications in renowned international journals. During the program, you will work in small groups to learn from your peers and you will get advice on your dissertation research topic in private tutoring classes with the members of your dissertation committee. During the whole program, students will be guided step by step through their doctoral research project. This allows you to publish various scientific articles in journals and conferences, and finalize your study within the set timeframe.
