Introduction
Carlow University's IACBE-accredited online Master of Science in Fraud and Forensics can be completed in just 12-14 months and readies learners with skills beyond accounting. Designed for busy professionals who want to make a difference in the field, Carlow's master's in fraud and forensics is 100 percent online.
Upon completion of the program, students will have the ability to evaluate risk, conduct internal and external fraud investigations, write internal and external policies and procedures, examine financial statements and use technology tools for data analysis of financial statements and evidence. The program offers a cyber threat research and analytics track, consisting of six additional credit hours, that readies learners to evaluate and investigate cyber financial threats.
In addition to an in-depth curriculum and experienced, accessible faculty, Carlow has anti-fraud educational partnerships with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the National Cyber Forensics Training Alliance (NCFTA). Students also have access to a strong alumni network consisting of more than 200 successful professionals for support and guidance.
After graduation, students are prepared to sit for the CFE exam and qualified for the 150 hours required to take the CPA exam. Graduates pursue careers as fraud investigators, auditors and cyber threat analysts.
