Introduction
Campbellsville University’s online MA in Education (Teacher Leader), Environmental Education Specialty program will prepare you to advance your teaching career through Christian principles and leadership. Delivered in an online learning environment, the program offers the flexibility you need to complete your master’s degree while maintaining your full-time responsibilities in the classroom. When you complete the degree, you’ll have the innovative technical skills it takes to become an authority among your fellow teachers in your school and throughout the education community.
The online teacher leader program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). Through a curriculum that’s strongly focused on ethical leadership practices, the program features diverse courses designed for your ongoing success, plus two practicum courses to ensure you gain valuable hands-on experience. In addition, the program also allows you to customize your education through the selection of seven professional specialty options, along with the opportunity to earn endorsements to accompany your degree. Professional specialty options include curriculum emphasis, gifted education endorsement, environmental education endorsement, content specialization, interdisciplinary early childhood education, and information technology.
All courses are taught by faculty members with years of experience serving Kentucky as teachers and school administrators. As you learn from their expertise, you’ll learn to use essential tools for curriculum planning and incorporate technology within the classroom. When you complete the program, you’ll have the professional skills and real-world experience it takes to succeed as an education administrator in either the elementary, secondary or postsecondary school settings.
