Introduction
The Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) offers a new route to a Doctoral qualification designed specifically for experienced leaders in the private, public and third sectors. Unlike a traditional Ph.D., the DBA enables candidates to make a contribution to knowledge through the "novel application of theory" rather than the "development of new theory". The result is an enhanced capacity in thought leadership for organizational change, and greater preparedness for senior management and/or consultancy roles.
Northampton Business School has been nominated by the Times Higher Education (the prime HE publication in the UK and part of The Times group) for Outstanding Business School of the year now for 2013, 2014 and 2015: unprecedented 3 years in a row. (Only six UK business schools are nominated annually of the 120+ in existence.)
The University of Northampton is the ‘highest climber’ in the 2014 Complete University Guide rankings, having jumped 39 places to 62nd place.
The University of Northampton is ahead of the national average in the annual National Student Survey (NSS) with 86% overall satisfaction and is the third equal highest University climber in the UK.
Supported Distance Learning Method: The DBA Distance Learning Programme can be undertaken anywhere in the Middle East, as we use facilitative technologies to enable your engagement with the course team, fellow students and course materials. It is supported by face-to-face sessions conducted in the UAE, by the University of Northampton tutors.
