The Official Master's Degree in Historical Analysis of the Present World is conceived as a postgraduate degree in preparation for research and specialization. It brings together more than 30 research doctors among the teaching staff of seven university departments in Andalusia, all specialists in Contemporary History and related areas, plus others from university institutions in France, Spain and the United States, who are linked to it through the University International of Andalusia, to respond to the interest of students to develop a postgraduate program that anchors the study of the present in its most immediate historical bases, confronting us with the understanding of the complex social, political, economic and ideological problems that affect us today. .
The Official Master's Degree in Historical Analysis of the Present World is taught and developed entirely On Line thanks to modern e-Learning tools and the use of Virtual Learning Environments, so no conventional classrooms or support infrastructures are necessary.

Royal Decree 1393/2007, modified by RD 861/2010, establishes the organization of new official university studies. According to this decree, access to the university master's degree may be in the following situations:Access with an official Spanish university degree: Anyone who has an official university degree, or a graduate, engineer, certified architect, technical engineer or technical architect can apply for a place in a university master's degree.
Access with a university degree from the European Higher Education Area (EHEA): Anyone who has a university degree issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) can apply for a place in a university master's degree, which allows access to official master studies.
Access with a university degree outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA): Anyone who has a university degree issued by a higher education institution outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) can apply for a place in a university master's degree, which allow access to university master studies. In this case, they can access as long as they obtain the prior approval of a qualification that they have access or, without approval, with the verification that these studies accredit a level of training equivalent to the state degrees and that they empower in the country that issued the title to access postgraduate studies. If they access without approval of previous studies, they will have to submit an application for access to the master with studies from outside the EHEA at the time of pre-enrollment.Acceptance into a university master's degree does not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous degree, nor its recognition for purposes other than that of studying master's degrees.CurriculumTo obtain the title, students must take a total of 60 credits, with the following requirements:They must complete the subjects of the Compulsory Module (36 credits), in addition to the Master's Final Project (12 credits).
Likewise, they must exceed 12 credits from among the subjects included in the Optional Module.
