Introduction
The overall aim of the Arden University LLB (Hons) with Qualifying Statuswith Foundation Year is to break down barriers to formal legal education by providing an innovative and flexible programme which is equally accessible to all and provides high-quality legal education which enables students to acquire knowledge, understanding and a range of practical and professional skills relating to the discipline and study of law which are applicable to a range of legal and non-legal sectors, and in a variety of geographical and cultural settings. Simultaneously, students will develop a range of transferrable skills, set within an ethical context which will aid them as they pursue law-related careers or further relevant study.
This LLB foundation degree covers the key pillars of legal knowledge and takes you through the fundamentals of English Law and the legal system. Gain the skills and knowledge required for the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE 1), and take an important step towards a Bar Practice Course if you wish to qualify as a barrister in the future.
