Introduction
Step into cybersecurity careers with a strong base of knowledge to help small and mid-sized companies protect their digital data and infrastructures.
The online Bachelor's of Cybersecurity degree at EOU focuses on practical cyber skills, rather than research or theory, so there are fewer math requirements in the program.
The program offers a generous transfer credit policy and you can be tailored to a B.S., a B.A., or a B.A.S. You can graduate in 2-4 years, depending on your educational background.
After building a strong base of computer knowledge, you'll take core cybersecurity sources such as Offensive Security Tactics and Techniques, System Hardening/Secure Configurations, and Reverse Engineering/Malware Analysis to build offensive and defensive skills to fight daily cyber battles.
According to a 2020 report by Burning Glass Technologies, skills taught in the program such as access management, data privacy and security, threat intelligence, compliance and controls, and incident response will see a 32%-41% increase in demand through 2025.
Skills in risk management will rise 60%, while the demand for valuable cloud or application development security skills will see a 115% and 164% increase respectively.
Faculty who work in the industry provide personalized attention in small classes as they guide you through the curriculum.
Graduate with the education needed to sit for the CISSP certification exam, and the ability to be effective on day one in new cyber roles.
