Introduction
What roles do accountants play in organisations? What kinds of information do they work with and how do their work and the information they produce influence the daily decisions and activities of an organisation? In this specialist route, you will develop an interdisciplinary perspective on the management of business organisations and build specialised knowledge and skills in financial and management accounting. You will be equipped with the necessary skills to use and apply accounting techniques and concepts in the workplace.

Course details
This degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits.
- You’ll start Stage 1 with a 60-credit introductory business and management module.
- Thereafter, for your remaining 300 credits, you'll combine the study of business and management with financial and management accounting practice and strategy, giving you essential skills that are applicable to a wide range of careers in business and finance.
