Advanced Club Management Program
Designed For Existing Golf Supervisors & Managers To Further Their Knowledge, Skills And Learn Industry Best-Practice The PGA IGI Advanced Club Management Program (incorporating BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management) is a management qualification that incorporates best practice principles for use in the club management industry. The study content has been chosen to reflect the educational needs of the golf course and club management industry, covering a broad range of club management subjects for managers in today’s business climate. This Advanced Diploma program is exclusively endorsed by Golf Management Australia (GMA). The Advanced Club Management program is ideal for managers who need to validate their existing club management skills, or are looking to enhance their current knowledge and skills set to advance their career in management. The program is relevant to people in positions at clubs such as General Manager, Club or House Manager, Assistant Manager, Finance Manager, Operations Manager, Golf Course Superintendents or PGA Professionals. Study of the Advanced Club Management program is undertaken through online distance learning, through e-learning platforms. This offers students a flexible learning environment, to manage their distance study and time around the current workplace and other life commitments. The qualification can assist in career progression at the Club and General Manager level, throughout Australia and around the world. Upon successful completion of the study, students graduate with the qualification BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management. Program Tuition Fee – $10,000
The Advanced Club Management Program is a distance study program, delivered entirely through online learning. Students will complete their study via the PGA’s e-learning platform, The Fairway. Throughout the duration of the study, The Fairway is your home as a student. On The Fairway, you will find all of your e-learning resources, such as your unit readings, assessment items and access point to your PGA IGI Program Manager. Assessment items as part of the study are designed to benefit you in your club management environment. During the duration of the Advanced Club Management program, you will have access to webcasts and webinar sessions in selected units of competency. These will be delivered by industry professionals in their areas of expertise, providing you with current industry trends and knowledge associated with the program of study.
The Advanced Club Management Program provides targeted education in business and management for club managers. Program content focuses on specific skills and knowledge required by a club manager in today’s industry – providing further education for future career development for students. The qualification BSB61015 Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management is comprised of 12 units of competency. These are delivered in 4 clusters of study, focusing on industry-specific content such as:

Throughout your study, you have contact with a dedicated PGA IGI Program Manager. They will be your point of contact for the duration of your study as you progress through the 12 units of study. All students studying the qualification have the opportunity to apply for direct credit or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management. Course duration for the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management is a maximum of two years.
HOW TO APPLY
Applications to study the Advanced Diploma of Management program are open throughout the year, with new students able to commence in their chosen monthly intake. Entry requirements for the Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management are:
- Completion of Australian Year 12 studies, or higher education qualifications.
- 18 years of age and over
